Reporting to: IT Manager
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

There may be a requirement to provide out-of-hours support via a planned on-call rota. This is currently being trialled and is not a contractual requirement at this stage.

Our unique CleverComfort™ technology ensures targeted support to improve posture and comfort. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our IT team, supporting colleagues across Head Office and retail stores.

The Role

You’ll play a vital role in keeping our business running smoothly by delivering high-quality IT support across systems, networks and users. From setting up devices to resolving complex technical issues, your work will directly support business continuity.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll support day-to-day IT needs, share knowledge with colleagues, and ensure systems remain secure, reliable and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line IT support
  • Conduct IT audits and health checks
  • Maintain IT asset registers
  • Monitor and test backup solutions
  • Manage antivirus, security and device protection
  • Perform maintenance, upgrades and installations
  • Support and manage email systems
  • Handle IT tickets within agreed SLAs
  • Recommend hardware/software improvements
  • Ensure data integrity, password and system security
  • Troubleshoot hardware, printers, connectivity and software
  • Maintain documentation and procedures
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Support IT projects and initiatives
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Participate in on-call rota (trial) and respond to critical incidents when required

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Windows Server 2016+ (Active Directory administration)
  • File and print server configuration
  • Remote Desktop Services
  • Exchange Server 2016 (hybrid)
  • Microsoft 365 administration
  • Basic SQL/database knowledge
  • Microsoft Office 2016+
  • Windows 10 and macOS setup/support
  • Laptop, desktop and mobile device configuration
  • VOIP systems administration
  • Virtual environments (Hyper-V)

You Will Also:

  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Be willing to travel to sites
  • Work Monday–Friday (9am–5pm) with flexibility for occasional weekend cover

Out-of-Hours Support (Trial)

We are trialling an out-of-hours support model to strengthen service resilience:

  • Rotating on-call rota
  • Evening, weekend and bank holiday cover
  • Standby payments and enhanced rates

This arrangement is under review and may not become permanent.
